OwlyScan employs a secure magic link authentication system designed to provide the highest level of security when accessing sensitive darknet intelligence. This passwordless approach eliminates traditional security vulnerabilities while ensuring seamless access to the platform.

After receiving your welcome email and activating your free trial period, navigate to app.owlyscan.com and enter your email address. A magic link will then be sent to your email, valid for two hours.

Accessing the Platform

To begin using OwlyScan, navigate to app.owlyscan.com using your preferred desktop web browser.

The platform is currently optimized for desktop computers and provides the best experience when accessed from a traditional computer rather than mobile devices.

Upon reaching the login page, you will be prompted to enter your registered email address. This email must match the address associated with your OwlyScan subscription or invitation. After entering your email address, click the authentication button to initiate the secure login process.

Within moments, you will receive an encrypted email containing your personalized access link. This magic link serves as your secure gateway to the platform and includes embedded authentication tokens that verify your identity without requiring traditional passwords.

Account Activation and Configuration

When you click the magic link for the first time, OwlyScan automatically configures your account based on your subscription type and organizational settings. This seamless onboarding process ensures that you immediately access the appropriate features and data relevant to your role.

If you have subscribed to OwlyScan Alerts, your account will be configured for automated monitoring with access to monthly reports and alert dashboards. Users with Expert Mode subscriptions will see the full search interface with token allocation and advanced query capabilities. Some users may have access to both modes depending on their organizational permissions, in which case there is a configuration menu to switch between modes in the settings associated with the client's organization.

Resolving Connection Issues

If you do not receive your magic link within a few minutes, first check your email's spam or junk folder, as security filters sometimes redirect automated emails. Ensure that your email address was entered correctly, paying attention to common typing errors or autocorrect modifications.

Should your magic link expire before you can use it, simply return to the login page and request a new link using the same email address. The system will generate a fresh authentication token and send it to your registered email.
